You should have completed all the molecular weight and mole calculations practice. The answers to those problems can be found in a link on last week's blog post. Check your work. If you have questions, ask! Today, we will be working on mole to particle conversions. Mole Conversions Tuesday, 9/27 Mole Conversions Answers We're going to go over the Mole Conversions worksheet from yesterday. The answers can be found at the link above. Today, we're going to take notes over % composition. We're going to finish the remaining problems on the Mole Conversions worksheet and complete some % composition problems. Wednesday, 9/28 19-25 Answers % Composition Answers Please check your answers to the problems you were supposed to do for homework. If you have questions about any of the problems we've done this week, please ask me at the beginning of class. After that, we're going to move on to how to calculate the empirical and molecular formulas of compounds. Look out for a quiz tomorrow about molecular mass, mole conversions, and percent composition. Thursday, 9/29 Empirical and Molecular Formulas Answers We're going to go over the empirical and molecular formulas worksheet. I will also answer any questions you may have about the previous worksheets. After this, we will begin our review over these topics. We will have an exam on Monday over molecular mass, mole conversions, % composition, and empirical and molecular formulas. Also, remember that retakes for Unit 2 exam are today after school and next Tuesday after school from 4-5pm. Friday, 9/30 We're going to go over your review today. On Monday, you will have a test over molecular mass, mole conversions, % composition, and empirical and molecular formulas. Please email me over the weekend if you have questions as you're studying.
